Well hello there! Have you put together your June Paper Pumpkin kit yet? It's super cute!
While I thought this was adorable, I challenged myself to come up with some alternate designs.
This is what I came up with. What do you think?
I didn't use any extra supplies other than a strip of white card stock for the Happy Birthday banners.
The dark circles were inked with the Tip Top Taupe ink :)

Oh, Hello Chickadee! Don't you just love this little chick? It's one of the favorites from this years Sale-a-bration collection! This little guy just says spring, don't ya think?
It's a pretty easy card to make. Stamp the chick with Black Archival ink onto Hello Honey card stock, then color in his peak with a Tangelo Twist marker. Cut him out, then sponge him with Hello Honey ink to give him dimension. Pop him up with Stampin' Dimensionals before putting him on the card.
I used the letters from the Back to Basics stamp set by Stampin' Up!. A big tip for you here - trim the excess from the letters, then line them up on your clear block so you don't have to stamp them one at a time. You can also line them up on lined paper or grid paper prior to adhering to your clear block. It's a real time saver!

It's time for another Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.
Here's the sketch and the card I came up with.
I'm really having a fantastic time using sketches to jump start my designs and the sketches by Julee are so creative and fresh. You should try them too!
The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! set Happy Happenings #139381. I made this card for a very special person in my life and she will get it in the mail. Shh - It's a surprise!

I used the Label Bracket Punch 3 times to frame the "Thank You". The first and third layers are Black Glimmer paper. The layer inbetween is Gold Foil. The way to get the layers is to punch the pieces and cut them on the diagonal. Then you just adhere them, fanning them out a bit.

You don't need a reminder, but, it really - soon it will be Christmas Day.
This stamp is from the Stampin' Up set called Cup of Cheer and it was perfect for this challenge for Mojo Monday 425.
This sketch was perfect for the coordinating Designer Series Paper that Stampin' Up! has. The pack used here is called Merry Moments and the traditional Christmas colors are bright and fun. Don't they make you happy?
Here's a closeup of the stamped image. A gold foil doilie is behind the sentiment and I used one of the Home for Christmas Designer Buttons with Gold Cording looped through and tied in a bow.
Here's a tip for you: I used markers to ink the sentiment. Always Artichoke for the boughs and Cherry Cobbler for the words. Then I used my Real Red marker and added the berry dots.

I thought I would take a break from holiday cards and play along with Mojo Monday and participate with sketch 424. I thought it would be a great way to use some Designer Series Paper (DSP). You know, those papers we hoard? I've decided that I need to use them; especially since they are on the FLASH Sale tomorrow! SCORE!

Well Hello there! Here is a card that we made in one of my Stamp a Stacks this season.
Incorporating Island Indigo (blue) into fall cards really makes it makes the colors pop don't you think?

Can't you just hear those Sleigh Bells ringing? Okay, how about the song? Can you hear that in your head?
Here is one of the cards we'll be making on Sunday at my third Christmas Card Stamp a Stack in Leesburg, Virginia. It was loads of fun to create and I love the color combo. I used Tip Top Taupe, Lost Lagoon and Shimmery White. Those along with Silver Glimmer Paper, the sleigh image really pops!

To make the sleigh pop even more, I used Dimensionals under the entire panel of Shimmery White.
Can you see all of the Big Shot work that is going on? I did all of it for my attendees. They'll be happy, and my arm get's get's one heck of a workout! LOL
