I'm caught up with this post! Woo hoo! This week our challenge was to watercolor. I used another fabulous stamp set by Stampin' Up! that is in the Holiday Mini and I'm dedicating it to my cousin Deanette. She just loves to watch the birds from her window and they brighten her day so this one's for you cuz!
I know it's a bit early for Christmas cards, but as soon as I read the challenge, I knew I had to use this stamp set from Stampin' Up! It's so beautiful!
To create this card, I first stamped the image withJet Black Stazon - a fabulous waterproof ink that is permanent (#101406, $7.95, pg 193 of the Fall/Winter IB&C). Then, using a Stampin' up! Aquapainter* I picked up color from the Classic Stampin' Up! ink pads and/or reinkers.
This is just one of the many ways to watercolor. Want to learn more? Schedule a workshop with me and I'll teach you and your guests some tricks of the trade <wink>.
