Another Christmas Card

Here is another card I made this year - and yes, I'm still making them.  I'm starting in August of 2011 next year!  LOL  Anyone else feel the same way?

I saw a card front very much like this at Baltimore Regionals and fell in love with it.  I wish I knew who the originator of this design was, but whoever came up with using the tree from "Lovely as a Tree" as a branch was genious!  I just added an extra layer, the embossed background and added the ornament hanger.

  

Here's the inside (this is my design).  I left it blank inside so I could write a note to the recipient.

Stamp sets:  Lovely as a Tree #115026, Delightful Decorations #116517.  Inks:  Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler.  Cardstock:  Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White.  Accessories:  Stampin Dimensionals, Petals A Plenty Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Paper clip, Ornament Punch.   

I'll post a couple more when I have the time to photograph and load them.  So much to do, so little time.  But then again, "Tis the Season" right!?!

Christmas Cards, Contempo Style

I know, I've been out of pocket lately.  I've been super busy being a Stampin Up vendor at the local crops here in Northern Virginia, teaching classes, and working on my own Christmas cards.  Believe it or not, I've still got many to complete but I wanted to share a few of them with you.

 
Both of these cards used the Contempo Christmas set by Stampin Up.  I love the images in this set, especially the "Merry Christmas" font.  It's so pretty.

The Fourth Annual Christmas Crank

I held my Christmas Crank last weekend and we had a blast.  Cards were made, giggles were shared, the music was fabulous, and a good time was had by all.
