More Fall Themed Cards

Okay, so I'm not quite ready to jump into Christmas yet.  It seems that we go from Halloween to Christmas and bypass the beautiful season of Thanksgiving.  So, in celebration of Autumn, here are 2 more cards I'd like to share with you before the weekend is over.

The first is my favorite for this season.  I LOVE this stamp set and hope that it makes it into the Stampin Up Idea Book and Catalog next July.  It's so beautiful.  I used Rich Razzleberry as the main color here.  It goes well with the other colors of the fall season and makes it all pop.

 
 

The next card uses Cajun Craze.  Another great color for Autumn.  Again, another fantastic stamp set was used called Day of Gratitude, again by Stampin Up.  This card was cased from one that was on the display board at the Baltimore Regionals that Stampin Up put on a while back.  We all got the set for free.  Nice perk for being a demonstrator, eh?

Sneak Peek - Cards Galore Class Dec. 4

Here's a sneak peek of just one of the fun cards we'll be making at my 4th annual Christmas Crank on Dec. 4th in Chantilly, VA.

This class sold out at the Crops Plus crop and there were folks who wanted to make these cards so I'm teaching it again! 

Come make 20 Holiday cards. Cardstock, Designer Series Paper, Rub ons, Envelopes & Ribbon provided. All you have to bring is your adhesive, glue dots, stamp cleaner, paper trimmer and scissors.

Day of Gratitude Meets Mosaic Technique

Hi Everyone!

Wow! It's the week before Thanksgiving and I've got to get busy on some cards. You know, I LOVE Thanksgiving. Not only because of the wonderful food (YUM!) but because it's a time to reflect on what we're thankful for. Everyday, we go thru the motions, hurrying here and there, being busy all of the time and striving to make ends meet and to just make it all work.

I have some advice for you.

STOP!

Just stop for a moment and be still.

Take a few deep breaths and reflect.

Reflect and think about all that we have in our lives and what we're grateful for.

For me, it's a loving husband who puts up with me and all of my faults and loves me anyway. I've got my parents who I absolutely adore. I've been very lucky to have them and can call them more than my parents. They are also my friends and great, wonderful, awesome people. I've got my brother and sisters and their families and my in-laws who I don't see nearly enough, but know that they would drop everything and be by my side if I needed them. I've got great friends who I love and adore. For ALL of you, I'm so very grateful.

I'm grateful that I can be creative and share what I love with a company that I adore and make some income while doing it.  I love being a Stampin Up demonstrator!  I could go on and on about all that I'm grateful for but that could take an entire day and I don't want to bore you. My point to you is this - Take the time to reflect and then see how grateful you feel and how very blessed you are!  Your heart will fill and overflow!

We made this at my Technique club meeting last month.  The technique is called Mosaic and is a great way to use scraps.

You cut them up, place them on the sticky sheet, sprinkle it with embossing powder and emboss.  Cool, eh?

Help for the Holidays

Then we'll order all the supplies you need for as many cards as you need and I will cut everything for you so you're ready to stamp. Once your cardstock is cut and ready, I'll let you know and you can pick it up from me. If you need your cut supplies shipped to you, there will be an additional shipping fee, otherwise this service is free!
