What can I say about the Love Bandit from Stampin Up but that it's just too cute for words. I wanted to share the card I made for Gary to celebrate Valentines Day. This is a sketch I can see myself using quite a bit, so if you see it again, you'll know why. Scallop cards are just so much fun to make and receive.
To create the base of the card, I used the Stampin' Up Scallop Square Die. Instead of cutting the entire scallop, I moved my folded cardstock over a bit so that the folded edge wouldn't get cut. Next, I used the new Scallop Trim Corner Punch and the Scallop Trim Border Punch.
Here are the deets. All product is Stampin Up.
Stamp Set: Love Bandit #117086, $17.95 wood mount, #118577, $13.95 clear mount.
Ink: Basic Black
Cardstock: Real Red, Bordering Blue, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Stampin Write Markers, Scallop Trim Corner Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch (FREE Sale-A-Bration item!), 2 way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Dimensionals
Here's a close up of the Bandit himself. Isn't he cute?
Tip: I used the 2 way glue pen along the very edge of the chocolate cardstock and salutation, then added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. It's so sparkly and shows much better in person. I'm sure you can image it for yourself.
Hope you enjoyed today's post and sharing a few moments of your day with me!
Happy Valentines Day! I wish you all that your heart desires.
