Comic Relief - Dick has a Birthday and the Importance of a Card

I miss some of the great comedies and "Third Rock from the Sun" was one of my all time favorites.  In this clip, Dick has a birthday.  There is lots going on here:

• First, he tries to recapture his youthful appearance in a side splitting way - gotta love those pants! 

• Second, Sally goes for the woman demographic and the power of being a woman.

• Third, check out the reaction to receiving a card.  Aren't you glad that you take the time to create cards for the people in your life?  That's why I love Stampin' Up! and the award winning products we supply.  When we send a card, it IS the very BEST!

This week, for the challenge, we used the sketch below.  For this, I used God's Beauty, one of Stampin' Up!'s Level 1 Hostess Sets.

I took liberties with it and altered it a bit.  Since I'm teaching my Over the Top Card Series - Diorama Card Class tomorrow in Chantilly, Virginia, this fit the challenge nicely.

Okay, So I'm Lovin' the Flower Daisies #2 Sixxiz Die from Stampin' Up!

I'm having WAY too much fun with this die.  I had some orders come and and decided to make some tags for the ladies.  I got the Flower Daisies #2 die from the New Stampin' Up! catalog and decided to use it.  Boy, am I glad I did!

First for the tags, I used two of each of the daisies and glued them together.  What I discovered when doing this is that if you press in the middle, it gives it more dimension.  LOVE it!

Now, as if THAT wasn't enough, I decided to make some flowers that I can put on the table at my New Catty (means catalog for those who didn't know) and Sale-A-Bration Kickoff on Saturday in Chantilly, Virginia. (Want to come?  Shoot me an email to RSVP) What I did this time was use 4 daisies of each size, glued them together as before, but this time, I used my bone folder to curl the petals.  Here's what I came up with:
