Did I ever have fun with the challenge this week! The challenge was to create a card in any shape but a rectangle. With Easter fast approaching, I made mine in the shape of an egg!
For the outside of the egg, I got the shape by using both the circle and oval coluzzle and then cut the sides free hand.
I used Baroque Motifs for the outside and embossed it with a mixture of White and Irridesent Ice embossing powders. It gives it a beautiful sparkle.
I then embossed the flower accents on cardstock vellum using the same powder.
Once they were embossed, I used the Boho Flower punch to punch them out.

The inside of the egg is a little whimsical scene. To create this, I used the stamp sets "Birthday Whimsey" that is available during Sale-A-Bration until March 17 and my favorite set from the 2008 Spring-Summer Collection, "A Little Birdie."
The eggs are actually the balloon from Birthday Whimsy.
The grass is a strip of Certainly Celery that I cut with my Paper Snips.
Here's the recipe for the card:
Cardstock: Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana, Cardstock Vellum
Inks: Basic Black, Apricot Appeal, Bashful Blue, Regal Rose, Versa Mark
Accessories: White and Iridescent Ice Embossing Powders, Ice Rhinestone Brad, Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Coluzzle Cutting System, Paper Snips
